It runs on Android 2.2 Froyo which the company promises to upgrade to Android Gingerbread with a super fast 1GHz Qualcomm 8255 processor and 768MB RAM (expandable using micro SD card) that makes using the device extremely pleasurable.     i have the htc in.s and its amazing the 8MP camera shoots everything amazing love this phone and android market vs apples itunes app store … android takes the cake almost everything on the itunes app store is on the android market and its free othere then paying .99 cents an app plus android comes out with thousands of apps a day unlike apple so its a huge bright screen bigger then the iphone 4 and i cant see apple beating this phone anytime soon cause they dont like change very much its been the same lay out for iphone and iphone 3 iphone 3g and iphone 4 come on its starting to get old apple get with the times i used to own an iphone3g before this phone and letting go was the best thing i ever did dont make the mistake by getting the iphone 4 open your eyes cause there is something way better and its called ANDORID.
