Male vs Female belts
Male and female belts have always been worn for a long time. Both men and women alike have been using belts either to follow prevailing fashion trends or for more practical purpose such as keeping the trousers in the waist.
Male belts have, at current times, been worn to keep the trousers from falling below the waist. This is primarily because an adult male body is long and does not have any curve in the middle part. Because of this holding the trouser or pants without a belt is fairly difficult. It could be done, though, but tighter pants may do the trick but it is uncomfortable.
Female belts are mostly used for accessories. Some of these belts may have flowery designs and bubbly colors. Others use belts to accentuate what they are wearing. A woman’s body is curvy, that is why they can fit a trouser without the fear that it might fall down. This is maybe also the reason why most women don’t use a belt for their pants. They merely use belts just to go with the current fashion styles.
Difference between Male and Female belts
Male and female belts have been made to fit a man’s or a woman’s physique. A male belt is typically longer and stronger and can fit waist sizes of up to or beyond 48 inches while a female belt can fit waist sizes in the range of 24 to 44 inches. This is because a woman’s body is typically slenderer than a man. Male belts have been traditionally used to hold trousers in the waist, to hold a saber or a pistol. On the other hand, female belts are mostly used as a decorative accessory and for aesthetic reason.
