Soul vs Body
Soul and Body are two words that are looked upon as one and the same, but philosophically speaking there is a difference between them in terms of their nature. Soul is indestructible. On the other hand, the body is destructible. This is the main difference between soul and body. Though there are differences between soul and body one simple fact remains true. Soul and body are very much bound together. A soul needs a place to stay. This place to stay is a body. Once the body in which the soul stays comes to any harm and dies or simply succumbs to a natural death, the soul moves away and finds another body. Many religions such as Christianity and Hinduism believe in this concept of the soul. Both religions attribute great value to the soul. So, let us see what we can know more about soul and body.
What is Body?
Body is the physical structure made of flesh, bones, and blood. This structure of a human being normally has different parts such as head, neck, trunk, arms, legs, hands and feet. Body is tangible. You can burn a body by fire, blow it away by a strong wind, wet is using water or cut it into pieces using a weapon as a knife or a sword because a body is tangible. We even can eliminate the body if we want to. That shows that body is not eternal. In other words, the body is not permanent. Even if a body does not suffer such harm as to make an individual die, a body comes with an expiration date. Even without any harm, the body slowly decays over time and once the right time comes, death follows eliminating the functioning capacity of a body. As a result once the body losses the life, body can be cremated or buried as according to the practice of the respective religion of the person that has met with death. The body’s journey ends with death. So, the body is not subjected to the theory of reincarnation.
What is Soul?
Soul is the spiritual part of a human being. Soul does not have different parts as the body does. This part is something intangible. Soul cannot be burnt by fire, it cannot be blown away by the wind, it cannot be made wet by water, and it cannot be cut into pieces by the sword. This is another important difference between soul and body. There is nothing we can do to eliminate a soul. If it cannot be harmed, it cannot be eliminated. That means soul is eternal. Soul is permanent. Soul is subjected to transmigration. Transmigration means once the body in which the soul lives dies, the soul moves into another body. Soul cannot be buried or cremated. Soul is subjected to the theory of reincarnation. A person that has realized the supreme nature of the soul is called a liberated person. He is not affected by heat or cold, happiness or sorrow, profit or loss, and victory or loss. On the other hand, a person that has not realized the supreme nature of the soul is born again and again in this world. He is subjected to a number of rebirths.

Christians are people who have repented and continue to repent from sin. We believe in and trust in Jesus, and follow His teaching in the Bible (just to clarify: not the Mormon bible which has been changed, regardless of it being in the King James language. Mormonism is a whole other subject.)
Jesus never taught the “theory” of reincarnation, where a soul dies many times, and each time it inhabits another body through rebirth. What Jesus did tell us is, “It is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgement”. Hebrews 9:27
Jesus taught that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (Him). We are confident that when our body dies, we will immediately be with Jesus. We have one life in which to come to the knowledge of Christ as The Messiah and to believe in Him. The free offer of salvation from the law of sin and death is only valid until the moment our body dies. After that, we stand before the Judgement Throne of God.
We are confident in His teaching because He came forth from God and is God, and there is no darkness in Him. He is the radiance of God’s Glory, the exact representation of His Being. Therefore, He cannot, nor ever would not, lie to us.
It is Satan who is the deceiver. He comes to rob, kill and destroy. It is important to know God’s word so you will recognize the difference between His voice and the Deceiver’s voice.
My purpose for distinguishing Christianity apart from Hinduism is because the article implied that Christians believe: “ Once the body in which the soul stays comes to any harm and dies or simply succumbs to a natural death, the soul moves away and finds another body. Many religions such as Christianity and Hinduism believe in this concept of the soul.” Christians do not believe that.
Christianity is about a personal relationship with God, not a religion. Salvation in religions is based on what a person does, if a person can be good enough, or do enough good things (Hinduism: through multiple deaths and lives) to win it. That is a lie from Satan. God’s plan of salvation is absolutely based on what Jesus did and our faith in God’s acceptance of His payment for all of our sin, not our our own goodness. God said we are all sinners (transgressors of His laws) from birth. If we could be “good enough” to go to Heaven, He would not have sent His only begotten Son, whom He loves dearly, to be crucified.
the body is the soul. the word ‘soul’ derives from the word soil from which the body is made. the soil is made up of 18+ elements. You are a spirit man and you have a body while You are on this earth to which the body will return to. ”for dust You are and dust you shall return”.
when You die, Your spirit goes to Paradise. awaiting the word from Yahshua to arise.
Act 4:10 let it be known to all of you, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Yahshua, Messiah, the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom YAHWEH raised from the dead, in this name this one stands before you whole.
Act 4:11 This One is the Stone rejected by you the builders, the One who has come to be into the Head of the Corner;
Act 4:12 And there is salvation in no other man, for neither is there any other name under Heaven having been given among men by which we must be saved
If you know the truth, the truth shall set you free. Thank you so much for your leave of knowledge and understanding base on the Bible teaching.
