Difference Between Saturn and Jupiter

Saturn vs Jupiter

Saturn and Jupiter are two planets in our solar system that show differences between them when it comes to their nature and characteristics. Both the planets are in the outer solar system. Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun whereas Jupiter is the fifth planet from the sun.

As a matter of fact both Saturn and Jupiter are gas giants made of mainly hydrogen and helium and not a favorable atmosphere for life unlike earth. This is due to the fact that both are situated at a greater distance from the sun. As a matter of fact the planet of Saturn is situated at a distance of about 1427 million kms from the sun. On the other hand the planet of Jupiter is said to be situated at a distance of about 778 million kms from the sun.

The time taken to orbit the sun in the case of Saturn is roughly 30 years (10,759 days). On the other hand the time taken for the planet of Jupiter to orbit the sun is roughly 12 years (4,331 days). It is thus understood that Saturn takes more than twice the amount of time taken by the planet of Jupiter to orbit the sun.

In the astrological point of view both Saturn and Jupiter are said to play great roles in shaping the life and success of a human being. It is generally believed that Jupiter is said to improve the personality of a human being. Saturn is said influence the life of a human being both in good and bad ways.
