Tea Party vs Republicans
 

Tea party and Republicans are movement and political party in the United States respectively that show differences between them. Republicans are from the republican political party established by the anti-slavery activists in 1854. On the other hand, the Tea party is a populist movement in the United States of America. It is formed from the local and national protests. This is the main difference between Tea party and Republicans.

The Tea Party as a movement is regarded only as a minority in the United States. On the other hand, the Republicans are regarded as majority in the country. In fact, the Republican party came to power in 1860. Abraham Lincoln was the first Presidential candidate from the Republic Party that won the elections. Ultimately, he won the elections, and declared the President of the United States of America.

It is interesting to note that the Tea Party gained enormous popularity in 2009 during which period several laws were passed. These laws include Health Care Reform Bill, American Recovery and the famous Reinvestment Act. It is said that Emergency Economic Stabilization Act also came into being by virtue of the efforts of the movement of Tea Party.

Due to its grand past, the Republican Party is otherwise called as the Grand Old Party. Thus, they are the opposition to the liberal democrats in the US elections. It is interesting to note that the Republican Party reflects the conservatism of the Americans in the political arena. On the other hand, the Tea Party supports the view of reduced spending by the government. They raise their voice against the increased government spending. They insist the government should pay more attention towards the reduction of national debt too. These are the main differences between Republicans and the Tea Party.
